Fujitsu General New Zealand will showcase its latest commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) innovations at BuildNZ 2025, with a dedicated presence in the HVAC+R Hub on Stand E25. Visitors to the stand will experience the company’s latest advancements, including the anywAiR iO smart building solutions, Airstage VRF systems, and a comprehensive range of Applied solutions.
The BuildNZ event, held from 15-16 July 2025 at the Auckland Showgrounds, is a leading trade show bringing together the building, construction, design, and architecture sectors. The HVAC+R Hub, which runs alongside the broader event, offers a focused space for HVAC professionals to discover products, network, and gain insights into evolving technologies and compliance needs.
Jeremy Foster, general manager – sales, Fujitsu General New Zealand, said, "Fujitsu General New Zealand’s commercial portfolio supports consulting engineers, developers, facility managers, and commercial HVAC contractors with flexibility, reliability, and control across all project scales and complexities. New Zealand’s commercial building sector is increasingly seeking smart, connected HVAC solutions that prioritise energy efficiency, resilience, and long-term lifecycle value. The Fujitsu General New Zealand team is excited to present its full capabilities across connected, scalable, and energy-efficient systems to the New Zealand market at BuildNZ.”
Attendees visiting Stand E25 will be among the first in New Zealand to engage with the anywAiR iO smart building solutions, which combines hardware and software in a single, intuitive ecosystem. It utilises a unique combination of sensors, gateway edge computing, cloud-based monitoring and applications providing real-time data and control of physical assets. It lets users manage multi-zone climate control, efficient scheduling, and proactive maintenance diagnostics from a central dashboard, empowering facility teams to streamline operations, reduce energy consumption and improve occupant comfort.
Fujitsu General New Zealand will also present its Airstage VRF systems, which provide scalable performance across mid-to-large commercial applications. The Airstage VRF range offers ease of installation and design versatility with multiple outdoor unit capacities with some units able to connect up to 64 indoor units and a compact, modular outdoor design, making it suitable for new builds and retrofit projects alike.
The Airstage VRF connectable indoor series includes a variety of ducted, cassette, and wall-mounted units with energy efficient, advanced refrigerant flow control, and intelligent features. These systems provide reliable comfort control and long-term efficient operation when coupled with VRF outdoor units, which support high-capacity cooling and heating along with flexible piping options.
Fujitsu General New Zealand will also highlight its Applied product ranges, including water-cooled and air-cooled chillers, rooftop packaged units, air handling unit, and computer room air conditioners. These solutions support mission-critical applications with enhanced reliability, integrated controls, and precision performance for high-demand commercial and industrial environments.
Kyle Rafter, general manager product and strategy ANZ said, “BuildNZ is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how the Fujitsu General New Zealand product portfolio meets the changing needs of the commercial building sector, whether it’s a multi-storey office, educational campus, healthcare facility, or retail precinct. Fujitsu General’s systems are designed to solve complex challenges and deliver lasting outcomes, from centralised control to high-performance modularity. The Fujitsu General New Zealand team is excited to engage with HVAC engineers, specifiers, and building managers to explore how the anywAiR iO, Airstage VRF, and Applied product ranges can support current projects and future developments."
Fujitsu General New Zealand’s participation at BuildNZ reinforces its ongoing investment in the New Zealand commercial HVAC market, combining local support with global engineering excellence.
