Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) recently hosted its annual Fujitsu General 2023 Conference Awards at the Sofitel Broadbeach. The conference, which took place from 21 to 26 May 2023, is a highly anticipated annual event where attendees have an opportunity to celebrate achievements, reconnect, and align for future growth.

Unlike previous years, the Fujitsu General 2023 conference was more than just a sales team event. Reflecting this year’s theme, ‘Back to Business’, the conference took an inclusive approach, welcoming 100 team members from across various departments. This shift reflects Fujitsu General’s focus on ‘what matters most’ in its business, encouraging inter-departmental collaborations and learning while instilling a sense of belonging amongst the diverse roles within the organisation.

The conference was graced by a stellar line-up of special guests, including former Australian cricketer Mark Taylor, who celebrated his 25th year as the face of Fujitsu General. Other notable guests included Frank Ponissi (general manager Melbourne Storm), Michael McQueen (author), and Craig Reucassel (Australian comedian). The presence of these esteemed guests brought unique perspectives and sparked insightful discussions, adding considerable value to the conference.

Philip Perham, managing director, Fujitsu General ANZ, said, “Our annual conference has always been a valuable platform for connection, reflection, and inspiration at Fujitsu General. This year, we took a different approach by involving team members from all departments. This move lets us foster a sense of unity and shared vision among our employees. It’s through this collective spirit that we believe we can deliver the best possible service to our customers and continue to innovate in our operations.”

The conference also involved daily workshops and thought-provoking sessions from industry leaders and guest speakers, including Justin Rodski (chief executive officer, Melbourne Storm), Craig Vozzo (chief executive officer, Essendon Football Club), Nick Ryan (chief operating officer, Essendon Football Club), Sam La Rocca (director, Precise Air Group), and Nadeem Tayar (managing director, Precise Air Group). These interactive sessions provided a platform for attendees to engage in constructive conversations around cultivating innovation and enhancing customer experience at every level within the business.

To conclude the conference, selected team members were recognised with awards to celebrate their individual and team achievements at Fujitsu General ANZ. The award recipients for the 2022/2023 financial year included:
