Ducted Heating And Cooling Gets Even Smarter
As homes become more connected with smart devices including TVs, laptops, tablets, and audio systems, home appliances such as heat pumps / air conditioners are growing more capable, and some now fall within the IoT@Home market.
For those seeking a premium Wi-Fi solution for whole-home comfort, Fujitsu General New Zealand is excited to launch its anywAiR® technology ducted controller from October 1.
Designed and developed in Australia, the Fujitsu General anywAiR® technology ducted controller lets users manage indoor comfort via a wall mounted touchpad, and the anywAiR® App. The heat pump / air conditioner can also be controlled
remotely anywhere, anytime with selected smartphones and tablets.
The Fujitsu General anywAiR® technology ducted controller allows users to easily control up to 10 different zones within the home by either selecting a designated airflow percentage or by a set temperature when individual room sensors are
installed.
Up to 12 custom scenes can be created to run a series of commands at the touch of a button, or at a chosen time. Commands can be as simple as turning the unit on and off, changing the mode or temperature, and selecting which zones are open. Scenarios
such as going to work, coming home, entertaining or bedtime can all be programmed to control the airflow and temperature to rooms required at set times.
Following installation by a Fujitsu Accredited Installer, the included Android-compatible touchpad is the central heat pump / air conditioner operating point. The user can also download a variety of Android apps on the device such as weather, recipes, music and other home automation apps.
The anywAiR® technology ducted controller comes with a five-year parts and labour warranty, and access to Fujitsu General’s in-house customer care and technical support team, Fujitsu General Assist, to offer users ongoing, local support.
